@Killerwhile
Well , that's write there are 3 ways now of calling threads and all them doesn't depend on PHP as it simply doesnot support it - in a cross platform manner - so other existing Threaded application is used to launch threads (Browser/Server , Server , OS) in Threading Classes (Ajax , Sockets , Cli)
@john freeze
This may be true for Ajax Thread Calling but by no means for Sockets or Cli

@all
a new version is available
ou can get it from sf here : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=203377
or from phpclasses here : http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/package/4082.html

hihi,
a funny approach..
but it will execute only 2 threads at once (defined in a [don't ask the number] rfc, that a browser shall execute only two calls at once to a web server)
if you want to use it anyway you could install "fasterfox" (firefox plugin that uses more simultanous webserver requests)

ps: it's not multithreading but multiprocessing as the webserver will fork a new process for each call

The way you call that "threads in PHP" is really bullshit. This not a way to run multithread with PHP, but rather "use the multithreading features of your browser".
